Fittings

The basic connection method in polypropylene installations is socket welding. By using correct connectors it makes it possible to:

• connect pipelines (pipe couplings),
• close the pipeline (stop ends),
• redirect the pipeline (elbows, bends, passing loops, tees),
• change the diameter of the pipe (couplings and reducers),
• make branch-offs (tees, four-ways),
• connect devices and fixtures (flange and metal threaded connectors).

Also ball valves with polypropylene couplings serve as the connectors.

All of the above make it possible to connect fittings to the pipe or to join two or more pipe sections together.
These are permanent connections that require cutting the pipeline when it is necessary to disassemble the connector.

Sleeves for flange connections and union connectors are used to make separable joints.

All connectors are universal and can be used for any type of KAN‑therm PP pipes, independently of the wall thickness and the pipe construction.
