SYSTEMKAN-therm

Steel

Complete, state-of-the-art installation system consisting of pipes and fittings made of high-grade zinc-plated carbon steel.

SYSTEM KAN-therm Steel is designed for internal, closed-circuit pressure installations – central heating, chilled water, technological heat, solar, as well as industrial (e.g. heating oil).

Easy and quick assembly

The “Press” technology used in System KAN-therm Steel makes it possible to quickly make reliable joints by pressing the connectors with generally available crimping tools, eliminating the need to thread or weld individual system elements.

The “Press” technology allows for very quick assembly, even when using large-diameter pipes and fittings.

Safety and reliability

Assembly is performed without the use of open fire, which has essential impact when replacing old heating installations in multi-family buildings.

Moreover, all system fittings are equipped with the LBP (Leak Before Press) function of signalling unpressed joints.

Advantages of System KAN-therm Steel:

  • quick and reliable system assembly
  • wide range of pipe and fitting diameters from 12 to 108mm
  • wide range of working temperatures from -35 °C to 200 °C
  • resistance to high pressure, to 25 bar
  • low hydraulic resistance in pipes and fittings
  • possibility of connecting with plastic KAN-therm systems
  • lightweight pipes and fittings
  • mechanical strength
  • no fire threat during assembly and use (flammability class A
  • high aesthetic value of installations
  • system signalling unpressed joints LBP

High mechanical strength

Secures the installation, especially in generally accessible rooms, against any effects of vandalism. For this purpose, the system is particularly recommended for use in all public buildings, such as schools, shopping centres, cinemas, exhibition halls, which are particularly exposed to such actions.
