The fittings of System KAN‑therm Copper

are made of CU-DHP (CW024A) copper and 2.109 bronze. The fittings of System KAN‑therm Copper are available in the diameter range of 12–108mm

The “Press” technology used in System KAN‑therm Copper makes it possible to make quick and reliable joints by pressing connectors using generally available crimping tools, eliminating the process of soldering individual elements. Thanks to this solution the process of assembling an installation, even with large-diameter pipes and fittings, is reduced to the absolute minimum. Thanks to this technology of connecting system elements, the highest quality and reliability of connection and high aesthetics of the whole installation is obtained.

Connecting system elements in the “Press” technology makes it possible to obtain joints with minimum pipe cross-section narrowing, which considerably reduces pressure loss in the entire installation and produces excellent hydraulic conditions.

Tightness and reliability of joints in System KAN-therm Copper is guaranteed by special O-ring seals and the three-point “M” type crimping system.

O-ring sealing Durability and versatility

The fittings of System KAN-therm Copper are equipped with EPDM O-rings as standard.

For special applications such as media containing oil or operating at high temperatures, FPM O‑rings are supplied separately.

Applications outside the scope of internal hot water, cold water and water heating installations should always be consulted with KAN.

LBP function of signalling unpressed joints

All fittings of System KAN‑therm Copper have the LBP function (signalling unpressed joints – “unpressed = not tight” – LBP – Leak Before Press).

Leak Before Press in the whole diameter range!

LBP function of controlled leaks is available in the whole diameter range of 12 – 108mm, and is ensured by a suitable fitting design (so-called “ovalization” of the stub).
