The basic element of the surface installation construction made in System KAN-therm Rail are plastic strips fastening the heating pipes.

Rail strips can be also used together with thermal insulation, e.g. of KAN-therm Tacker.

The system does not require the use of any additional tools.

Additional profiling elements and connectors complete the offer.

Rail strips

Made of plastic and available in two constructions: trough and modular.

Trough strips come in sections of 1 to 2m. They enable installation of pipes with specific diameters, ranging from 8 to 25mm, with spacing of 5cm.

Modular strips, come in sections of 0.2 m to 1m. They enable installation of pipes with specific diameters of 12-17mm, 16-17mm and 12-22mm, with spacing of 10cm.

Profiling elements and connectors

For the smallest pipe diameters of 8mm, special profiling arcs are available to ensure their safe routing. They make it possible to safely guide pipes with small spacing.

For connecting pipes of a diameter 8mm, special “Click” connectors are delivered.

For pipes with larger diameters, the system offers standard elements available in the pipe systems range, e.g. KAN-therm Push or KAN-therm Press.

Supplementary elements

The complete surface installation may require the use of additional materials to ensure optimal operation:

KAN-therm Tacker thermal insulation
Edge tape dividing the heating panel from the structural elements of the building.
Dilatation tape to divide large surfaces into smaller.
BETOKAN and BETOKAN Plus plasticizers increasing the resistance of the heating panel to excessive cracking during thermal operation.
