The basic element of the surface installation construction made in System KAN-therm NET are:

Steel wire mat
Fastening band for connecting nets
Clamp or plastic bands to fasten pipes
PE foil fastening pegs
PE foil

Steel wire mat

Made of steel wire of 3mm mesh. Mat size 1.2 x 2.1m, mesh spacing 150 x 150mm. The mat is supplied in prefabricated sheets.

Bands to bind nets

Specially prepared metal bands to interconnect the steel net complete the NET offer.

Pipe clamps and bands

Prefabricated plastic clamps and bands are used to fasten heating pipes on the net.

PE foil

Polyethylene foil is used as a damp-proof barrier.

It is delivered in 2m wide and even 50m long rolls.

Foil fastening pegs

Plastic pegs with large heads act as elements fastening the foil to the surface.

Supplementary elements

The complete surface installation may require the use of additional materials to ensure optimal operation:

Thermal insulation, e.g. KAN-therm Tacker
Edge tape dividing the heating panel from the structural elements of the building.
Dilatation tape to divide large surfaces into smaller.
BETOKAN and BETOKAN Plus plasticizers increasing the resistance of the heating panel to excessive cracking during thermal operation
