Connecting the elements of System KAN-therm Copper Gas uses the simple, quick, and most importantly, safe (no work with open fire) “Press” technology – consisting of pressing a fitting on a pipe using special crimping tools

All tools for installation of System KAN-therm Copper Gas are easy to use and do not require any special qualifications.

There are just a few easy steps to make a correct and tight joint:

Cut the pipe to the required length

To cut the pipes use special roll cutters and make the cut perpendicular to the pipe axis.

Prepare a section of the cut pipe

With a manual chamferer, chamfer the internal and external edge of the cut pipe, remove all chips that could damage the O-ring during assembly.

Check for the presence of the O-ring and its state in the fitting

Insert the pipe into the fitting to the required depth.

Mark the required depth of inserting the pipe into the fitting

It is necessary to achieve the correct strength of the joint.

Pressing the diameters in the range of 15-35mm, place the properly selected jaw on the fitting and press it.

To press bigger diameters (40 and 54mm) use special collar ofType \’snap-on\’.
- Place the open jaw on the fitting
- Connect the crimping tool with a suitable, pre-assembled adapter to the jaw
- Press it
